About Shady Hollow
Shady Hollow began in 1978 with large, tree-shaded lots, and continued into the 1990s. Today we have approximately 1,400 homes, great neighbors, and great community-owned amenities. They include a large community center, swimming pool, four tennis courts, two basketball courts, four parks with playscapes, and two nature trails.Community activities include a swim team, Scouts, Kiwanis, 4th of July parade and activities, Halloween haunted house, and other holiday events. Shady Hollow Homeowners Association is very active, and there are many committees and volunteer opportunities for everyone.
Nearby we have grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants--from TexMex to Italian to sushi to cajun. And gyms, veterinarians, a nursery, physicians, dentists, and dry cleaners. Two major shopping areas are within five miles.
Our elementary, middle, and high schools are in the immediate area, as well as numerous day-care and after-school-care facilities.
